Etsy-aholic

I am an etsy-holic (spelling!?). Its disturbing how much time I can spend on the site. I love EVERYTHING - well almost everything, there are some mind-boggling things like

this planter - for $70! I mean seriously, do people buy things like this?? And if so, were they sitting there thinking gosh I really want a planter that looks like a giant stiletto heel!?! Anyways, lately there are a few things I have found (some of them I know I could probably make) but I thought I'd share of my favorites...

And then finally....

I found someone who makes wreaths like my Go Noles one! I also am going to try to make some of these for one of our gameday watching parties...

Do any of ya'll have addicting websites I could add to my browsing routine??

Weekend in Review

To all of my friends and family, I am back! I decided this weekend I really wanted to have a way to re-cap my life that just seems to be flying by - and better late than never. This weekend was jam packed with fun new restaurants, visitors, a braves game, and a relaxing Sunday at home. As most of you know I am slightly obsessed with Murphy's (a restaurant in Va-Hi that is soo yummy) - with exposed brick walls, great food, and great wine - who wouldn't be?

I started out the weekend by eating dinner at Murphy's with great new friends, we then headed over to Rosebud for a few drinks, followed by a stop at Neighbor's. I had to wake up at the crack of dawn on Saturday for a hair appointment. I am always nervous to get my hair done as I am used to the stylists getting awfully snippy and cutting my hair way shorter than I anticipated! But, I was extremely nervous about this appointment because it included a new salon, a new stylist, and trying out the Keratin treatment I had heard so many people rave about. I bought a coupon for the treatment a few weeks back on Groupon (which you have GOT to try if you haven't) - it was $99 for the treatment which is normally $450...eeks! Well anyways the salon is extra-modern but as soon as I showed up I knew I would be switching immediately.

I saw Beth at Dragonfly Salon and she was awesome. She did a great job on my cut and I love it! Well afterwards I had the Keratin treatment where I found out I wouldn't be able to do the following for the next THREE days: no shampoo, no working out, no pony tails, no sweating, no putting my hair behind my ear, etc etc. - how's a girl to survive? Well I blow dry and wash my hair every day so this has definitely been quite the challenge but I am loving the results so far (I will post a picture later.) After taking a mid-day nap my brother and his girlfriend came into town for the Braves game and to bring me an early b-day present...I am in love with

my new FSU wreath!! I am so excited to hang my wreath and even more excited for football season to start next weekend! Today was more low-key with a little lunch at

FarmBurger! OMG this place is awesome.. I had a No6 which is house-cured bacon, sunny side up egg, pepper jack cheese, and salsa verde. This may just be my new favorite burger joint and the line out the door speaks for itself. We finished the day with a trip to Staples, Whole Foods, and then a home-cooked meal (which is out of the ordinary these days)...
(Crab Cake, Asparagus, and an Heirloom Tomato Salad...yum!)

Hope ya'll had a great weekend!
